We checked into the hotel at 23:00 expecting to have a good night’s rest and wake up around 9:00. Instead, at 7:40 we were abruptly woken up by extremely loud road construction and maintenance work right next to the hotel. The noise was sudden and very aggressive, and nobody warned us about it when we checked in. This was very disappointing, especially since the staff clearly knew about the construction but still placed us in rooms closest to the noise. Because of this, we were unable to get proper rest, which will negatively affect our work today. So be aware: you will not need an alarm clock in this hotel — construction noise will wake you up whenever it starts, without any warning from the hotel.
Fin beliggenhet i Arendal, p hus rett ved siden av hotellet (kun utkjøring), vi parkerte i starten av p-huset Tyholmen da vi så bil ladere der, mulig det er ladere nærmere hotellet i denne garasjen, det ser vi først når vi drar videre. Hotellet er under ombygging med rot utenfor og borre maskiner som bråker litt, men ikke direkte sjenerende. Det er et lite område å sitte i i resepsjonen, hadde vært kos med andre alternativer her. Vi hadde sjøutsikt og et fint rom med to gode stoler og det var fint med rolig liv på vannet og ferjer som kom og gikk. Frokosten var over all forventning, hyggelig betjening og rent og nok med mat.
Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel direkt am Wasser und zentrumsnah. Parkmöglichkeiten im Hotel oder in unmittelbarer Nähe. Für einen Tag kostet das Parken zwischen 21,00 und 23,00 Euro. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Zimmer und Bad ausreichend groß. Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis.
Kan absolutt anbefales pga. sin hyggelige betjening, bra rom og senger, utsikt og ikke minst en flott frokost.

Feiret nyttårsaften med matpakke. Fantastisk god mat, hyggelig og imøtekommende betjening og fint rom med flott utsikt. Utrolig godt utvalg og smakfull frokost. Absolutt å anbefale!
