St. Mamede's Church, located at R. das Alcaçarias 1, 7000-587 Evora, is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, with a view of the historical center. Dating back to the era of D. Dinis, its construction has Gothic roots, originating from the Basto fortress. Later, in the 16th century, it was rebuilt, becoming even more beautiful and secure.
