Church of Our Lady of Carmo (Viseu)
In the town of Viseu, the Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo is an unmissable tourist attraction. This baroque style church has an interesting history, as it originated from a strong disagreement between the Franciscans and the Capuchins. It dates back to the late 18th century and has undergone several renovations over the years, including the addition of a sacristy and session room in the 19th century.
