The sawing of beams and window frames, as well as the making of two interior altarpieces, date from the time of its construction, eighteenth century.
The Municipal Development Pattern of Leiria of 1995, DR no. 204, eventually recognized its value and included it as Municipal Value.
The structure of the Chapel is characterized by bearing wall systems.
