The Chapel of Our Lady of the Rescue is a small cozy church tucked between the houses of the old city and easily passes unnoticed. Located on Rua da Bandeira in Viana do Castelo, the Chapel was built in 1696. There is a welcoming and cozy atmosphere when entering, provided by the images of San Crispim, Santo Rita and Our Lady of the Rescue being venerated inside it. This is a much sought-after visit by tourists and important for those of Catholic faith.
