The Chapel of Our Lady of Glory is located in the center of the city of Braga and offers a magnificent view of the horizon. Founded by the Braga prelate D. Gonzalo Pereira, and with permission of Pope John XXII in 1331, this chapel is without a doubt an interesting part of Bracarense architectural heritage. Inside, there is a Gothic tomb belonging to Archbishop D. Gonzalo Pereira, similar to that of Queen Saint Isabel of Portugal in Santa Clara de Coimbra, work of master Pedro de Coimbra and Telo García. Also stand out the Mudéjar frescoes on the facade of the chapel, related to the arms of the Pereira family and the kingdom of Portugal. Visit this historical tourist attraction by car, and spend some time immersed in the culture and heritage of Braga. The Chapel of Our Lady of Glory is a treasure of information and beauty that deserves to be enjoyed by travelers from all over the world.
