From this viewpoint, a panoramic view opens up over the valley of Laboreiro and the Serra da Peneda. In the bottom of the valley, several small forts can be identified, those on the right bank of the river, surrounded by shrubs and oak woods. From this point, one has a perfect notion of the difference in altitude between the small forts (between 750 and 850 meters) and the village (fixed point, at 950 meters high) and, especially, regarding the pastures located North of this viewpoint, at an altitude ranging between 1000 and 1200 meters. It is also a strategic point to try to identify the mountain peaks rising between the valleys of Laboreiro and the Peneda River.
