"Bouças River Beach is a river beach located in Cortes, a former Portuguese parish of the Monção municipality. It was extinct (aggregated) by the administrative reorganization of 2012/2013, with its territory integrated into the Union of Parishes of Mazedo and Cortes. Cortes is the oldest former parish of the municipality, founded on August 24, 1989. It is near the Minho River, on the Portuguese side, with Spain on the other side. It is close to the Minho River Ecopista."
