Located on an islet in the middle of the Tagus River, the Almourol Castle is one of the most emblematic monuments that can be found in Portugal, for its significance and the surrounding landscape. The price is 4 euros, including the visit at the Templar Interpretation Center. It is less than half an hour from Tomar and about 90 minutes from Lisbon.
