"The Fluvial Beach of the Alfaiates Reservoir was inaugurated in 2017, after concluding that beyond the initial irrigation and fishing functions, it would also be an excellent spot for swimming. The water from the dam, fed by the river of Alfaiates that flows into the Côa river, creates a vast and tranquil body of water surrounded by soft wooded slopes."
