Com saída do Funchal deve seguir na Via Rápida (VR1) em direção à Ribeira Brava. Tomar a Via Expresso (VE3) em direção à Ponta do Sol e Calheta. Na chegada à vila do Arco da Calheta, na rotunda, siga pela 1ª saída em direção à Estrada Regional (E.R.222). No sítio do Loreto siga a sinalização até ao Rabaçal. O percurso (PR 6 - Levada das 25 Fontes) encontra-se à direita.
