Let's make it 28,001 reviews for this magical spot. Book your ticket in advance. Go early unless u enjoy hordes of tourists. The visitor center is very good, explaining the history and geology. The staff are friendly, ask them questions! We took the audio guide, as we wanted to control the pace of our visit. There are guided visits every 30 minutes. The stroll down by the bay of cows is very impressive, and the audio guide does a great job educating you in history, myth and geology. The causeway itself is not a large area. The stones are really slippery, so be careful when clambering up! Pay attention to the staff, they will tell u how not to get hurt! Don't stop at the causeway, continue on towards the Giants organ and take the looped trail back, so you are not walking back on yourself. The views from across the top back down into the causeway are some of the best. There is a cafe on-site and and a "giant" car park, I'll get my coat.
Visited the Giant’s Causeway in December, just before Christmas, and it was a great experience. It was sunny and surprisingly clear, which made the place look even more impressive. There’s no need to pay to see the Causeway itself – you can walk down for free. We walked down and then paid £2 for the return bus back up, which was very convenient, especially on a cold day. The site is located in Northern Ireland, which adds to its unique character. It really is a monumental place and well worth a visit, especially in winter with fewer crowds, fresh air, and stunning views.
Amazing views and a truly unique natural formation. The Giant’s Causeway is stunning and well worth visiting. A shuttle bus runs regularly up and down the hill for £1 one way, which makes access easy. At the top, there is a hotel with a restaurant and hot drinks to go, so you can warm up before or after your walk. You can spend many hours exploring the walking paths around the cliffs and coastline, but to see the actual stone formations at the bottom, about 30 minutes is enough to take photos and enjoy the views. The Visitor Centre is in a separate building and is quite expensive, but you don’t really need it — you can still have the full experience just by walking around the site itself.
Giant's Causeway is truly a one-of-a-kind destination! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, making for an unforgettable experience. It's so impressive with the natural beauty and unique rock formations. A must-visit!
Very very nice and you have 3 ways to reach the main landmark: either the red path which goes through the cliffs (recommend, amazing views and about 35min walking), the blue path that is about 20min walk on pavement and a shuttle bus that doesnt cost more than 2 pounds each way (or something like that). Prepare with waterproof and anti slide shoes for a full joy!!!
