TERRIBLE Service, DANGEROUS for Kids and really DIRTY! Beach isnt even very nice. so dissapointing! Manuel Antonio and La Fortuna were so much better! BUGS in rooms, they REUSE THE CUPS AT THE POOL BY RINSING THEM, not washing them! We started using our own cups after the first day after watching them rinse the cups and stack them to use for guests. Front desk checkin was rude and no kind service, her name was Eriana and was the worst service I have ever had. Shower doesnt drain, lost power in the room for half a day. Beach is too dangerous for kids to play, jet skis coming and going and we saw a kid get hit by one. They almost hit our kids. Then while we were on the beach there was a POLICE RAID and it was really scary for the kids. The beach vendors all started running and screaming right in front of all the guests trying to walk and two guests got hurt.
We totally loved this resort! The rooms were very clean and cozy. The staff were very attentive, there was always shuttle service available. The pool was beautiful and clean -I always seen the employees cleaning it around the clock. The food was excellent. My only complaint is the Internet was very spotty which made it hard to get on the hotel app and make dinner reservations, therefore we did not get in with Bamboo because by the time that we did get on there it was totally booked. We did, however, enjoy Mitra market as the breakfast and lunch buffet offered a very wide variety of fresh fruits, salads and tasty meats and desserts etc. Mangular was so delicious and I enjoyed the sea bass and crème brulee’ flights very much! The monkeys and other animals roaming about the grounds made it so much fun as well! I cannot say enough great things about this resort and I really hope to go back someday!
Tivemos uma experiência muito agradável neste hotel eu me senti muito confortável e tranquila durante toda a estadia meus filhos e meu esposo também ficaram muito felizes a equipe nos atendeu maravilhosamente bem e sempre foram muito amáveis nos sentimos muito agradecidos por toda a atenção e pelo lindo ambiente do hotel. Foi uma experiência muito especial para nossa família.

Staying at the Westin this week. Lots of restaurants on the resort which offers lots of options. The staff is wonderful and they work hard to make you happy. For activities away from the resort, go see ERIK GARCIA, blue shirt with GOOGLE on front. He is amazing and caters to your needs. He has booked 2 excursions for us and they have been amazing. We will see definitely see him again for our final execution.
We loved our visit to the Westin! We stayed in a family room and the kids loved it! The food was great and staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were super comfortable and we all slept so well! Seeing iguanas and monkeys throughout the resort was wonderful! Special mention for Randy who helped us in our check out and he was so lovely! My kids already want to go back. Highly recommend!
This place is amazing. Every place we dined was great. The hospitality of every employee we encountered was the best! Definitely recommend this property. EDIT - I wanted to mention there is a page on Facebook call "Westin Reserva Conchal info and discussion". It is not ran by the property, it is run by conchalfun. They won't approve posts that mention other tour companies. It seems like its there to answer questions but its to promote that tour company. Pretty deceptive until you look into it. Stay away from them. Book with the resort or Blue Sky Tours.
Faisanella restaurant was amazing service & delicious fresh Sea Bass & Risotto! Fernanda Sanchez greeted us warmly, realizing it was date nite, she thoughtfully sat us at an intimate table for 2. We have made the reservation prior to arriving. Once we entered the resort we had no direction. We did the best we could but ended up in the back of the resort(Thanks WAZE APP). We then proceeded to climb back to the lobby with no direction from staff even after asking. Finally a young man pointed us in the right directions. Check in is at 3, we are currently still in the lobby waiting on our room. We asked if we could extend because the bonvoy app is down. It’s beef over 30 minutes snd we still don’t have an answer. Costa Rica doesn’t always have the best weather so when it’s beautiful like it is we won’t to take advantage of it. Disappointed we are still in the lobby waiting.
